Physical Factor Mapping

There are many physical factors that prevent healthy and reliable working environments. If the environment is very noisy or very dusty, the work causes vibrations in the hands, arms and bodies of the employees, the thermal comfort of the environment is not provided, that is too hot or cold, the air is too humid or dry, the ventilation is insufficient or the lighting conditions are insufficient , radiation in the working environment or low or high air pressure are always negative physical factors for the working environment.

In work environments, not all of these physical factors may coexist, or certain physical factors may be concentrated in certain regions. Necessary tests, measurements, analysis and evaluation studies are carried out separately for each physical factor by the authorized laboratories by taking into consideration the criteria, limitations and conditions in the current legal regulations and the standards developed and published by the domestic and foreign organizations.

However, physical factor maps that are prepared have a special importance. The data obtained from the said measurements and analyzes are processed on the business areas of the enterprise and risk maps are formed. Special methods are used in the preparation of maps and risky areas are presented to the enterprises in a way that draws attention. As such, it is easier for businesses to recognize physical risk factors and take the necessary measures.

Physical factors pose risks to the health of workers if adequate precautions are not taken. Employers have been held responsible for the relevant regulations.

Physical factor mapping services are also provided by authorized laboratories within the scope of mapping studies. It is important that the reports issued by the laboratories and the mapping studies are accredited in accordance with the TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 General Requirements for the Qualification of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.
