Highway Vehicles - Agriculture ve Forestry Used Makina ve Tractors - Internal Materials Yanma behavior
Fibers used in weaving in flammable or flame retardant textile products must maintain their physical properties even when exposed to high temperatures. In this respect, textile products used in the seating cabins of machinery and tractors used in agricultural and forestry activities together with road vehicles must comply with all relevant standards and regulations, including the DIN 75200 standard established by the German Standards Institute (DIN). This compliance is important not only for human health and safety but also for product quality.
Safety and quality are among the leading demands for all materials used in the automotive industry. The improvement of products and components is within the goals of all car manufacturers and is justified by end consumers.
In addition to the standards developed by national and international organizations, automotive companies also develop and implement their own standards on the combustion behavior of internal materials. Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Daimler, Ford, General Motors, Volvo, Porsche, Honda and Toyota are examples of this.
Authorized laboratories carry out a series of tests to determine the combustion behavior of the internal materials of machinery and tractors used in agricultural and forestry activities as well as road vehicles within the scope of fireproof tests. Laboratories comply with the following standards during these tests:
- ISO 3795 Tractors and machines for road vehicles, agriculture and forestry - Determination of internal material combustion behavior
- TS ISO 3795 Road vehicles, agricultural and forestry machinery and tractors - Determination of combustion behavior of internal materials
This standard is a method for the determination of the horizontal combustion rate in case of exposure to a small flame in the textile products used in the seating cabinets of passenger cars, trucks, vans, buses and similar road vehicles, tractors and machinery used in agriculture and forestry.
