In fact, all cosmetic products are at risk of infectious microorganisms. In particular, aqueous cosmetic products, such as shampoos, lotions and creams, are very suitable for the growth of fungi and bacteria unless proper protection is provided. As soon as microorganisms are contaminated with cosmetic products, the color, odor and viscosity of the product change and the expected benefit of the product is not obtained. These changes are due to the degradation of microorganisms on the components of various chemical substances contained in the formulation of the cosmetic product. When cosmetic products are deteriorated in this way, they begin to damage the skin and subcutaneous tissues and trigger various errors.

Toxic substances from microorganisms cause skin allergy and irritation. If the immune system of the people using it is weak, they will have greater discomfort.

The importance of microbiological analyzes carried out in various laboratories and studies of Candida Albicans counting or searching in this context is very important in this respect.

Laboratories accredited by national or international accreditation bodies must comply with the following standards for microbiological analysis:

  • TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 General Conditions for the Qualification of Test and Calibration Laboratories
  • TS EN ISO 22716 Cosmetics - Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) - Guidance on Good Manufacturing Practices
  • TS EN ISO 29621 Cosmetics - Microbiology - Risk assessment and microbiological identification of low risk groups
  • TS EN ISO 18416 Cosmetics - Microbiology - Candida albicans
  • TS EN ISO 11930 Cosmetics - Microbiology - Evaluation of antimicrobial protection of a cosmetic product

In the meantime, the laboratories have a strong technological infrastructure and an experienced and educated staff to achieve high quality, fast and reliable results.
