Moisture Tests

During the activities carried out in various sectors, the quality of the ambient air depends on the product characteristics. In order to obtain a healthy working environment, first of all, it is necessary to have knowledge about ambient air. The quality of the air in the environment is one of the most important factors affecting the health of the environment. Because the nature of the ambient air, harmful microorganisms in the environment to live, even cause rapid growth. In this respect, the amount of moisture in the ambient air is extremely important. An environment with a high moisture content is the perfect environment for many bacteria to reproduce easily. In addition, these humid environments are very suitable for mold formation.

In addition, moisture is the common enemy of many substances. Moisture in the environment causes the decomposition of organic materials, the corrosion of metals, or the corrosion and fragmentation of a number of installations.

The moisture is mainly the amount of water vapor in the air. In moisture measurements, absolute humidity, relative humidity and specific humidity are calculated. Absolute humidity is the amount of moisture contained in a certain volume. Relative humidity is the ratio of the amount of moisture in the air to the maximum amount of moisture in that air. Relative humidity is inversely proportional to temperature. The specific humidity is the ratio of the amount of water vapor contained in a gas to the weight of the gas. In general, relative humidity is the most common moisture described in the weather, and therefore the most common.

During the specific test studies, the current regulations and the relevant standards published by many domestic and foreign organizations are taken into consideration. In accordance with the needs of the enterprises, our organization also conducts moist environment tests within the framework of specific tests.

Meanwhile, our organization has been accredited by ÖSAS accreditation organization in accordance with TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 General Requirements for the Qualification of Testing and Calibration Laboratories and serves within this framework.
