flue Particles Matter (Powder) measurement

Measurement of Particulate Matter (Dust) in Chimney
Measurement of Particulate Matter (Dust) in Chimney

The flue gases consist of substances containing carbon dioxide and pollute the environment to the maximum extent. This is why chimney measurements are carried out in accordance with international standards and norms. The most important contribution of the correct flue measurements to the enterprises is to provide energy efficiency and to save fuel. However, in order to achieve this, flue gas measurements must be performed accurately and well. At this stage, it is important to separate the flue gas into powder particulate matter.

Particulate matter in the chimney, ie dust measurement, is carried out by the authorized laboratories in order to detect, control and prevent the pollution of the environment by the enterprises in the form of smoke, soot, gas, dust, steam and aerosol which are emitted by the enterprises in the air.

The laboratories providing these services on the basis of their authorization from national and international accreditation organizations comply with the principles of ISO 17025 standard during their activities (general requirements for the adequacy of TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 Test and calibration laboratories). Same time accreditation in accordance with this standard.

In recent years, as urbanization and industrialization movements increase, environmental conditions and human health are seriously affected. In particular, industrial enterprises release a large number of polluting gases that pollute the air into the atmosphere. The most dangerous of these gases are carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen monoxide and nitrogen dioxide gases. In order to control these gases, flue measurements and analyzes must be carried out with high quality and safety.

In the Regulation on Control of Air Pollution Caused by Heating published by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, arbonmonoxide concentration and soot limit values are explained. Particulate matter measurements in the flue made within the scope of emission (flue gas) measurements are important for keeping the enterprises under control.
